FFA Opening and Closing Ceremonies
For the first time in many years, Sycamore has a freshman team that competed in the FFA Opening and Closing Ceremonies. This event was hosted by TSU for our region. Tina is the Vice President of the Freshman FFA Sycamore chapter. This competition is basically a skills test to see if the students understand all the procedures that should go on during an official FFA meeting. The students studied their parts and although they didn't win, they made us all proud. If you are interested in reading all the parts they had to learn (without any note cards) feel free to check out this link. Official FFA Open and Closing Ceremonies

Granny Graduation Present to Tori
WOW!!!
For graduation Granny wanted to make Tori a quilt. Tori picked out the fabric for it and gave to Granny just before Christmas. Three months later this was the result. It is amazing to me what my Granny can do at 87 years old. Tori was stunned at how beautiful it turned out. This will be something she will treasure for her entire life.

Union University
After three weekends in a row going to scholarship competitions... it has PAID OFF BIG TIME! Tori's #1 selection is Union University and we got the call that she was awarded the Provost Scholarship. This means FULL tuition paid for all 4 years. This award is well over $120,000 for the 4 years. The award amount will even increase as tuition increases. We are so excited and so proud!
